You have 30 days to convert an ECM purchase into a daily rental — pay only for the days you had it, and send the module back in its original box.
Every other module provider would leave you stuck with a part you don’t want or need.

How rental conversion works
Three things happen: you convert, we inspect, we refund the difference.

Convert within 30 days
Bought a NEW or REBUILT ECM and found the module wasn’t the issue — or simply changed your mind? Convert the purchase into a Daily Rental and send the ECM back in its original box.

We inspect, then refund
When your module arrives we inspect it and issue your refund less the rental fee. Exterior or interior damage and missing components are subject to additional fees.

Pack the request number
Submitting the form emails you a Rental Request Number. Print it and pack it in the box. No printer? Include a note with your name, email, phone and that number.

ECM did not solve vehicle’s issue, you sold your vehicle or you changed your mind.
Rental fees
The rental fee is deducted from your refund. Everything is calculated from the date your module was delivered.
Rebuilt units
- Minimum fee Upfront fee for the first 10 days, calculated from the delivered date.

- $12 / day
- Maximum rental period
- 30 days
Damage or missing components found at inspection may add fees.
New units
- Minimum fee Upfront fee for the first 10 days, calculated from the delivered date.
- 25% of price
- Each additional day
- $18 / day
- Maximum rental period
- 30 days
Percentage is calculated on the original purchase price of the unit.

How do I return my part?
Four steps. The prepaid label ships inside the same box as your replacement module.

Step 01
Pack the ECM
Reuse the box your replacement module arrived in.

Step 02
Secure the box
Tape every seam and remove any old shipping labels so it doesn’t get misrouted.

Step 03
Apply the prepaid label
It’s in the box with your order. Lost it? Request a new one on the Core Return page.

Step 04
Ship your ECM
Hand it to the carrier — keep the tracking number for your records.
